CSL Centenary Fellowships: A Decade of Impact
The CSL Centenary Fellowships began in 2016 as a ten year, $25 million commitment to Australia’s medical research ecosystem.
The program reflected CSL’s Australian origins and our long-standing belief that strong science starts with backing talented researchers and giving them time and support to succeed.
Over 10 years, the CSL Centenary Fellowships supported twenty exceptional early‑ to mid‑career researchers helping them build sustainable, globally recognised research careers while continuing their work in Australia.
Supporting science has been central to CSL’s purpose for more than a century. We remain closely connected to the Australian research community of which we are proud to be part and continue to support through sponsorships and grants, internships, partnerships and the mentoring of the next generation of medical researchers.
With final fellowships now awarded, and the program now having reached its planned ten‑year conclusion, the CSL Centenary Fellowships stand as a legacy of investment in Australian science and the researchers shaping its future.
